Natália de Oliveira Correia Correia (1923 - 1993), was a Portuguese writer and poet, born in the Azores archipelago. A woman of passions, she married four times during her 70 years, also did television, journalism and was also a member of the Assembly of the Republic (1980-1991), intervened politically in terms of culture and heritage, in defense of human rights and women's rights.

Natália Correia's work spans different genres, from poetry to romance, theater and rehearsal. He has collaborated frequently in several Portuguese and foreign publications. He publicly assumed disagreements with the Estado Novo and was a supporter of Humberto Delgado's candidacy. He was sentenced to prison with a suspended sentence in 1966, for the «Anthology of Portuguese Erotic and Satirical Poetry».

During the 1950s and 1960s, one of Lisbon's most vibrant gatherings was held in his home, where the most prominent figures in Portuguese, as well as international (opposition) arts, letters and politics attended. From 1971, these meetings started to take place in the Botequim bar, where he sang for many years, transforming him into the meeting point of the intellectual and political elite.

Natália Correia was a successful verser, a charismatic woman, who became known for her personality free of social conventions, vigorous and controversial, which is reflected in her writing. His work is translated into several languages.
