Fado Houses
Fado is not only the ex-libris of music in Lisbon, but one of the greatest symbols of Portuguese identity. If you are looking for a unique experience, we are the perfect guide. In our opinion, these are some of the most striking Fado houses in the capital:

Restaurante Mesa de Frades
Casa de Fados typically Lisbon, takes advantage of the natural acoustics of a chapel to make the intimate atmosphere necessary for a good fado night even more special. It is located in Alfama, in an eighteenth-century chapel in the Palácio da Dona Rosa

Restaurante Sr. Vinho
Founded in 1975, it serves typical Portuguese cuisine, to the sound of Fado shows with the best interpreters, which makes it a place of reference in Lisbon's nightlife. Mr. Vinho, also known as the “Universidade do Fado”, is in the neighborhood of Madragoa-Lapa.

Adega do Machado Restaurant
Famous Casa de Fado, founded in 1937, reinvented itself in June 2012. The city is present in the song born in it, sung here, in the buzz of passersby, in what one eats. Adega do Machado is located in the most Lisbon neighborhood, Bairro Alto.

Restaurante O Faia
Aromas and flavors that are discovered in a creative and contemporary cuisine, under the talent and dedication of Chef André Pola, without forgetting the tradition and respect for Portuguese cuisine. It is also in Bairro Alto, just above Praça Luís de Camões.

Restaurante A Severa
Founded in 1955, “A Severa” is one of the icons of the city of Lisbon. The name was inspired by the story of an old gypsy singer who was the most famous fado interpreter of her time, in the 19th century. It is located in Bairro Alto, and serves traditional Portuguese cuisine.
